The Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner will be held at The Lights, Andover, SP10 1AH, on Tuesday 22 May 2012.

Bookings are now being taken for the Awards gala dinner. Tickets are again held at £40 each. It will be a sparkling event with many highlights. We'll be skilfully guided through the evening by Steve Randall, Andover Sound's brilliant Breakfast Show presenter.

Around two hundred Test Valley business people will be greeted with welcome drinks while having time to network before sitting down to an exquisite three course dinner with wine. You'll be part of the exciting Awards ceremony, win fabulous prizes and be fascinated by Fred Dinenage, MBE, our Guest of Honour, with behind-the-scenes asides from his years in television in his inimitable, humorous style. Then there'll be another opportunity for networking to round the evening off.


Fred Dinenage, MBE, news presenter of Meridian Tonight; 'HOW' TV show host, author and columnist Fred is probably best known and much loved across the south for his daily presentation of Meridian Tonight TV news and will share some of his fascinating experiences with us. Fred was awarded the MBE in 2010 for his services to broadcasting. As a host and presenter he has brought his own humorous, light touch to many TV programmes including the unforgettable HOW. Perhaps a not so well known fact is that Fred is also an accomplished author and columnist.


You'll also have the chance to hear about and donate to the wonderful work that the charities we are supporting this year do: Andover Young Carers and the Romsey Young Carers Project. These charities help lighten the load of children who undertake a caring role for a family member with a long-term illness or disability.
