The Test Valley Business Awards 09/10 were launched on Wednesday 21 October 2009 by Chris Packham, conservationist and TV presenter of BBC's Autumnwatch Chris surprised guests by stating: "In my view that people came first when conserving our environment, which is why I am delighted to be called on to advocate the Test Valley Business Awards."
Chris reasoned that it is crucial for businesses to work together to make communities viable for the future. Only then will people have the time, and perhaps money, to invest in sustaining our environment and the wildlife around us. Chris will be on our screens again with Springwatch in May 2010.
