As the widely anticipated Test Valley Business Awards Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony approaches, held at The Museum of Army Flying on 14th September; the spotlight this week is on the long running Innovation & Technology Award.

Sponsored by the University of Southampton Science Park, this unique award celebrates a vital sector of our economy which is being nurtured in southern Test Valley – highly innovative, technology businesses. The Awards Ceremony offers a chance for tomorrow’s specialist high growth businesses to be show-cased before they become more widely known.

The Gala evening represents a great opportunity to hear about and celebrate the success of just some of our fascinating enterprises. It also allows guests and participants to network, gain valuable publicity and promote themselves.

The finalists in this category for 2017, are:

∙ CoolLED Ltd.
∙ CircuitWorx.
∙ 270 Vision Ltd.

Peter Birkett, CEO of the University of Southampton Science Park, said of this year’s Awards and finalists:

“The University of Southampton Science Park is delighted to support the Test Valley Business Awards once more. As a CEO myself, I believe that it is enormously beneficial for business leaders to take time out to reflect on their organisations’ achievements and to celebrate the success of others across the region. The Test Valley is a hotbed of talent, innovation and sheer hard work and that is why we have such an array of successful businesses based here. We congratulate everyone who has contributed to their company being shortlisted for an award in 2017.”

Now in its 13th year, the Test Valley Business Awards – run by a small steering group of volunteers and supported by the Council – has become a well-established platform to promote businesses excellence and especially to shine a light on the many new and small innovative businesses operating out of sight. It is a great way to enable smaller enterprises to gain the recognition and exposure to grow.

The Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony will take place the Museum of Army Flying on the evening of 14th September. Tickets are just £50 to include a welcome drink and sumptuous 3 course meal provided by Michelin Award Winning chefs McCrimmon & Reid.
